Voice of practitioners in research

In November 2015 we joined Community Care Live to run a Masterclass with the NIHR School for Social Care Research on The Voice of Practitioners in Research. Joined by Madeline Naick (Kent) and Andy Mcnicoll (Community Care) we discussed ways in which practitioners have been involved in research, heard from Madeline on her experiences and from Andy on his perspective as a journalist, and shared our work.

The discussion was excellently produced as a visual note by Nat Al-Tahhan, and we are starting to draw together examples of practitioners (broadly) who have been involved in research in any way, and top tips to support practitioners’ engagement with research. To share your experience or tips, email us at sscr@lse.ac.uk.
