This is the stage where you should be able to sit back and bear the fruits of your labour. With careful consideration of impact throughout the research process, the implications will become crystal clear.

This phase will also benefit from some time set aside for responsiveness. To really embed and support impact from your research, you need to be able to respond to approaches and contacts as a result of your impact activity. While it will not be possible to anticipate the amount of interest you are likely to receive, setting time aside for some ongoing activity will help. You may also wish to include some evaluation activity of impact in your initial funding proposal.

Effort at this stage is likely to be useful for the first three stages of future research, for Developing Research Ideas, for Refining Ideas and developing further Research Proposals.
